Visitation was so great this past weekend, it was our second time visiting since he is so far away from us now. It was also the second time for my boyfriend seeing our son, who is now 3 months old. He got to hold our son the whole time (from 8am-3pm) and got to feed him his bottles. It was great seeing them together, and letting them have a chance to bond. We got to take 4 pictures together. We took a family one, one including all of us and his dad, the 3 generations lol, and of course daddy and baby. I can't wait to get the pictures back, im so excited! It was just a wonderful visit, but he did get in trouble for too much contact tho lol, he wouldn't stop touching me lol. They were kool about it tho.

I am happy you had a great visit. They are even more precious with a baby.It brings me back to our son's first visit. It was a long drive and a short visit, but worth every moment.Our son is now 5 yrs old and absolutely adores his Daddy(I am special too).There were times we could only visit once a month,now generally twice a month. The close bond is still there. Wishing you lots of patience for the times in between.

I'm so happy that you had a great visit!!! I can't wait to have daddy hold our son for the first time, he is due October 19th!!!!!! Post the pics when you get them!!!

yeah i'll post them as soon as he sends them to me! its really great seeing him hold our son, good luck with labor and delivery..hope its a quick one! hehe.

Awe how sweet! I'm sure those pictures will be great. I know how much it warmed your heart to see daddy bonding with his son. I hope he does come home to you as soon as your ticker says.

Congrats! I know how you feel. This month was the first time my husband got to hold his daughter now 3 months old. The visit is not long enough but priceless as well as the pictures. You can take the pictures to walmart or walgreens ( if you have them there) and they will take the white off the picture and make it look normal. I bought several pictures- sometimes they are the only thing that keeps me going some days. Good luck with everything!!

Yeah he should be coming home on November 5th, from what I found on FBOP. He told me he just found out his release date, but he doesn't want to tell me because he wants to surprise me, which is driving me crazy!! His dad told me that his release date is Nov 5th too. He also told his dad not to tell me, but he did anyways lol. Im just so excited bc it will be a year since hes been locked up in Dec.
