Default TRC Hearing/Questions

My spouse's TRC is coming up soon. It will be his first one. I read on another thread that was posted by someone who was in TRC (approved) was already living at a halfway house. He mentioned that he was unable to visit his home, because he committed his crime there. The same thing happened in our case. The viewer that posted the thread was unsure if he could ever go home again *maybe while he was on probation? Is this necessarily true in this case? If that viewer was on probation let's say 2 years, would that mean that he wouldn't be able to go home to live at all while he was on probation? If that is the case, would this mean that my spouse wouldn't be able to come back home to live? Or does it depend on his probation conditions, if that's one of the conditions? Please help!
