Former Judge Pleads guilty

Former First Circuit Judge Jay Tapkenof SD plead guilty today (June 11) to grand theft. While he was passing judgment on others was himself breaking the law. His reason for grand theft on the court record was he needed the money. If someone pled guilty to grand theft while the Judge himself was committing the same crime what does that say about the Courts. His now ex-wife is a federal Judge in Souix Falls.

Yea Tapken is a jerk. He's burned all his bridges the last years. He's a HARDCORE gambling addict. Can't go a day without playing lottery machines. Once he gets to prison he will be gambling at card tables. Because it's a non-violent crime he probably will go straight from the fish tank to a trusty unit. Probably Redfield since it's way out of the way.
