Default Segregation

This may sound like a stupid question but is segregation like isolation? If someone is looking at 5 to 6 years could they really put them by themselves that long?

Hi , Segration is generally done because of a write up. Or they have gotten into trouble. Your son is not BTK. If he goes and he stays out of trouble he will be just fine. I know that you do not feel that way right now but you will feel better when you see him the first time. Be sure you tell your son to put work release on his program when he is at RDU. Then possibly like my son he may get to be closer to home for the last couple of years of his sentence. My son got 5 years and he will be out in about 4years 3 months with good time. He is now in permanent parting which is in the work release facility. Most important is that he stays good. Let me know where he goes which you will not know untill he completes his RDU then maybe some of us on here can help you more. We can walk you through alot of things that will help you alot. It is hard mom but you can do this. Hang in there and pray alot. It does help. Message me and I will always answer, I know how it helps so I do not mind. Take care of you. Mom

Thanks for the advice. This is actually Dad. His attorney has told us that he might be put into segregation for his own safety.
