Default We're New to this

We are new to this. My sister was just sentenced to 3 years. She was currently at Ozark County Jail.

She told us to Check casenet to find out where she was moved to and when she is moved. But when I check caseNet there is no information about her given. I found her and the charge, but it doesnt tell me anything more than she was charged with something.

She was sentenced on 11/01/2007.

Any help trying to understand what is going to happen from here is greatly appreciated.

First of all, Welcome to PTO!! Okay Casenet is just a place to go to get court info, just like you said you found. You need to check a website called Vinelink, and there you will have to choose the state, once you do that there will be a "Search" tab on the top left of the screen, click on that and then it will take you to a page were you can type in her info. If it has been real recent, it might just show her in cnty jail, they are a little slow with up dating there info. If you have any more questions, please ask, there is always someone here that knows information about DOC. This is a wonderful site, we have alot of caring people here, so again welcome !!

I found that if just call and ask nicely they will tell you if some is still in their jail or if they have been moved somewhere else. I would be sure to tell your relationship--sister--as well. It never hurts to pick up the phone and ask.

No information is available yet. I am going to call the jail tommorrow and see if they can give me any information as to if she is still there or if they have moved her and where they moved her to.
