your siggy line and avatar

i always love reading people's signatures and avatars, because it gives you a clue into who they are.

i have a few comments and questions though. i wanted to know...do you change your siggy line and avatar normally, according to what you're going through or how you're feeling, or do you rarely pay it attention once it's up?

i ask this, because i see so many siggy lines and avatars that just don't seem to reflect the general attitude of the poster. and not once or twice, but it seems AT ALL IN GENERAL.

for instance, there will be an siggy line and/or avatar claiming the wonders of their relationship, but then every post they make is drama filled and how they aren't sure if this is worth it. so i'm wondering...did they make that avatar when times were better and just forgot to update it, or do they truly think their avatar still reflects their relationship?

then there are some very funny siggy lines/avatars, very serious ones, very thoughtful ones, etc. and many of them i think fit the members very well, and are right on point, etc.

so what do you think? and what does your signature line and avatar mean to you?
