Default What does she think of PTO?

I was kind of curious about this with ya'll since it recently came up with us.

I printed the story of "A Woman's Worth" off of here and sent it to her. Of course, on the bottom of the paper it said prisontalk, so she wrote back asking where I got it. So I wrote back explaining what pto is and why I joined. I sent that letter with a little trepidation about her reaction. I could forsee the "I'm not comfortable with you talking about me online" reaction. But you know what, she thinks it's the coolest thing and wants to know more about it! I'm glad for that, because pto has been a blessing, and it's something I want to share with her.

Just curious if pto is something you talk about with your wives/girlfriends, and how they feel about it.

Nick

Well Nick, I can tell you that she always mentions it in her letters. She is greatly appreciative of the fact that so many here help me out from day to day. She sends her thanks constantly for the information I get to her through here. She always asks about Kay's Man, Metro and Krummy, since she knows they are 3 I am always communicating with. And for a little while right before she finally went in she came on and read a few of the things I had posted and the replies while she was in County on the first go round of this nightmare. We talk about it regularly in our mails.

So from my babe's point of view, she loves PTO.

I'll give you a response my girl gave today, our second contact visit! She's at CIW and today she asked me "How did you know to bring so many quarters for the vending machines?" . I told her, "Kays man 4ever" (Thanks Jack). She then asked "Who's Kays man 4ever?" I then told her about PTO, her reply "Thats why you know so much about what's going on with me and prison". So thanks PTO you made me look good! The best to all. BigBurtChino

My wife is actually a member. She signed up before she went in and learned many valuable lessons before self surrendering. She now thinks that it is the greatest thing in the world for me because it helps keep my sanity.

I hear you Krummy, on one end here I am losing my mind every other day it seems, then I turn around and there are all of you, (my PTO lifeline) holding the rope keeping my sanity anchored ashore.

BigBurtChino, that's awesome. Im so happy you got to see her again. Jack is an encyclopedia ain't he? Everyone seems to have the info ro if nothing else point me in the right direction. Jack comes up with the oddest things at times, but when you really read them, the man is a genius in so many ways..... Speaking of Kay's Man...where the hell has he been all weekend?

I just want to say thank you to Jack again. I can't stress enough how helpful he was for my first visit. PTO makes it all possible for those that have already crossed the "Bridge over troubled waters" and share those experiences good and bad with us that are just getting are feet "WET". So a big thank you to everybody that participates in these forums. The best to all. BigBurtChino

Default My paltry knowledge comes

with a few nicks & scratches.

But, you should have heard about the crazy sh*t, I did not tell you.

Even now, it makes my colon tighten.

Bottom line, all is well, that ends well.

And if any CO's at CIW are listening, you folks are pretty decent guys, all things considered.
