North Dakota's corrections department is setting up an electronic mail system for inmates this fall, to provide what officials hope will be a cheaper and less troublesome option for keeping in touch.

We thought about using this option with a loved one in WA State... although through email that gives DOC more options to be nosey and keep things on file to use against them! If you use this option be careful what you say!!! Not generally the most smart thing you could do!

No problem! It's a good idea and would make for easy interaction with your loved ones but it always gives DOC something to use against our guys! If we say something they have it on file forever, just be careful if you opt to try it!
