Confused?????

Okay, on Friday Adam rec'd a warrent for violating his probation. He has been in jail for over a month now and he has just rec'd it. His hearing on the new charge and what he thought was his revocation hearing is going to be on Sept 11th. The warrant was signed by the judge on Aug 29th, but there is no court date on the warrant. The judge told the person serving Adam with the warrant that "she would hear his case at her leisure". None of this sounds right. Adam's attorney is livid about all of this and is trying to find out what exactly is going on. What do you think this means for Adam?

I don't know anything about the prison system and am very new to this website. You said Adam's hearing was set for Sept 11th. My husband was arrested today from work for a probation violation and they revoked his probation. They said he has no bond so he has to sit in jail??? I was just wondering how long it took Adam to get his hearing and what happened next...I am confused too because this whole process does not seem right.

My friend sat for 4 months, denied bond ofcourse because of probation violation. The first time she violated she luckily was given boot camp for 3 months, this time it was prison. None of it seems right when any other crime bond is available, but violate probation? bond denied!

I don't have any advice but I wish you the best of luck!
