Default new at this please HELP!!!!!!!

PLEASE HELP!!!! I'm new to the PTO. Could someone please help me learn?? Have a son at the Ferguson Trusty Camp in Midway. I am having problems with visitation . They are not allowing the mother of his child to visit him. Isn't that one of the rights when you are in a trusty camp?

I wanted to say welcome to PTO...I'm sorry I don't have any answers to your questions, but someone will be along to help you.
You could also post in the Texas forum and ask for help there.

I also have a son at the Trustee Camp in Midway. We go see him every Saturday. We have not had any trouble yet. We have been the last 3 Saturdays. Only 2 adults can visit him, so my husband and I take turns and we let his girlfriend go every Saturday. What kind of problems are you having? I don't know that I have the answers, but I will try to help. Kathy==Darrell's Mom

Hope I'm doing this right. I was there Sat 27 & sun 28.I can only afford to visit him once a month. We always go at 8am on both days & get the 4 hr. special visit. We live more than 330miles from Midway. The problem is that his girlfriend is not allowed to visit him. Haven't been able to find out why.

Hey TexMex195,
My sons girlfriend goes with us every Saturday, and she has no problem. She is on his visitors list. Is your sons girlfriend on his visitors list? That is about the only reason I can see that she is not being allowed to visit. I know when we go in, we have to show our picture ID, and she punches everything into the computer, then they call him up.

Hey there gage 464 his girlfriend has been on his list since he was sent to prision a year ago. She went up there once with me, then was denied a special visit the second time. We have never caused any type of problem and have always followed the rules. Just don't understand this mess up. Think I may call the warden and have a chat with him but I dont want to cause my son any problems Did yall go in the am hrs Last Sat dec. 27? We sat at the table next to the candy machine on the back side. My son is real big tall heavy 24 year old.It was myself, my 17 year old daugh,12 year old granddaughter and his 2 year old son that went for the visit.

Yes, we get there around 11:00am on Saturday morning. We have been the last 3 Saturdays, and we have sat outside all 3 at the little tables with the covers on them. My son weighs about 175, tall, 26 years old. (old enough to know better!!!) I believe I would call someone to find out, but I really don't know who. I am sure CenTexLyn can help you, and I believe if you post this in the Texas Forum she should read your request. Let me know. Kathy==Darrell's Mom

Hey Cathy,
We had a picture made of our son this past Saturday. If they stay on schedule, they should be making pictures on the first weekend in February. Maybe we can meet each other on that weekend, because I am sure we will visit on Saturday. Keep in touch as time gets closer, and let me know what time you will be there. I have a grandbaby due on February 4, but I'm sure I will still go unless she is in labor. Will discuss this more as time gets closer. Take Care. Kathy==Darrell's Mom

Congrat a little early on the new grandchild. They are such a joy. My oldest is going to be 13 this month and the youngest is the one I always take to Midway to visit his Dad. I have 9 more in between those two. We are almost always there on Sat. by 8 am. We travel up there early on Friday, so I won't be so tired from the drive. It's over 300 miles from here.
I need to find out about a hotel my son had been told about. Another inmates parents stay in a motel in Huntsville that is supposed to give discounts to people visiting inmates in that area. I need to try and save a little if there is a way.
I'll be chatting with you again soon. Once more thanks for all the help.
