Question Checking for DNA

Why doesn't ERDCC check for DNA when someone gets accused of violations? I'm just curious other prisons do it but they don't. I'm a firm believer that this prison does not care about their inmates at all. If they do it is very few that work there.

Just wondered if anybody has ever come across this or if they know of anybody that has gone thru this.

They collect the DNA but they don't utilize the procedure.

The cost is too great to test DNA for all violations. I believe it is only used when someone is seriously injured or killed. I have not heard of other prisons doing on a regular basis either. The state can barely feed these people.

Thanks Christy!!
The prisons excuse via letter is that they "do not have the means of doing DNA testing." That was all that the wrote. They could have explained in detail when and why they only use it.
I use to view Prisons different until I had to deal with them. I'm not happy with ERDCC at all. We didn't have any problems with FRDCC at all. I'm a firm believer that not all prisons are uniformed.

Thanks again Christy
