Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

My son is at Kirkland Correctional in Cola SC for his R&E. I just got my first letter along with paperwork for phone calls and visits. My concern is the phone calls. When he was in jail I just put money on my cell phone through Paytel and he could call me anytime. I understand that it is different in prison. He says that I can't use my cell phone nymber and that I need to list my home phone number. I leave for work around 8:00AM and don't get home until after 6:30 in the evening. I am afraid of missing his calls. Thanks for any info on how this works!
