Carpooling/Rideshare requests for Winslow

If you are trying to find a ride or if you have extra room and want company and/or help with costs, post in this thread and please include the following information:

Whether you have a vehicle or need a ride.

What area you're coming from.

What time you usually head for Winslow Prison and how long you generally stay - For example, if you drive all night and go directly to the prison or if you arrive Friday night and get a room.

What days and hours you usually visit or would like to visit.

Do you travel with children or do you mind children.

Are you a smoker or is it really important to you that your carpool pal NOT smoke?

I drive from Buckeye every other weekend-alternating days
I stay from 8am-4pm

Or

I drive from Scottsdale every other weekend
I leave at 2am Sat. and stay until visits are over on Sun. at 4pm
I get one room for Sat. night

So I am planning a trip back to Winslow again! I talked to my man on the phone today and I just can't wait till valentine's day! So I am going the 23rd!! If anyone wants to carpool let me know. I will coming from Los Angeles and will be traveling the 1-40 East so if you are on the way and need a ride let me know!

I wanted to reply to your message, I was riding with this other lady to winslow, but her man was transferred somewhere else. Scottsdale (101 & McDonald) Ride needed - Ideally leave Sat. early morning (5-ish) and return on Sat. evening after visitation is over. ASPC-Winslow, Coronado - Preferably non-smokers, will split costs.

Holy crap- I will never EVER complain about going to visit Nathan. I leave the house @ 10am to get there for the noon visit.
Once he has all day visits, the earliest I'll have to leave is 6am.

Haha... That was nothing!!! I have to leave from California tonight around 8 or 9 pm to get there by 5 or 6 am and get a hotel room and breakfast before my visit!!! I can't wait to meet you either!! I currently live in avondale off 107th and thomas and would help pay for gas in exchange for ride to see my man in kaibab unit. I use to see him with his mom who recently relocated to alaska. He is a phase 3. let me know if anyone is still goin up there.

I am going to be in Arizona this weekend and I haven't seen my man in 7 months and the person that was supposed to give me a ride can't now! I am willing to go either Saturday or Sunday! I can even split the gas cost and everything!!!!!! I really hope someone can take me!!! He gets out Nov 6th and then goes to county for 6 months, which means no more contact visits!!!!

I have not seen many people since last year post on this forum, I know alot of inmates where moved from Lewis to Winslow along with my guy(moved from stiner red). I am looking for someone to carpool with;

I drive from Peoria (loop 101 & t-bird) to winslow corandao unit at least once a month (would like to go more if we spilt gas) I stay from 8am-4pm but will start staying all day as soon as he's a phase 2 Im even willing to split hotel cost and go 2 full days
( or 2 half days for now)

My son was just transferred to Winslow Coronado from Buckeye. We just
visited this weekend, very costly to go from Tucson and stay the night in hotels etc. I take my grandkids, but I may be interested in an adult visit only on occasion. I will contact you when I look at some dates, etc. if you are interested.

Hello -

I'd like to go to Winslow this weekend so just wanted to see if anyone wanted to share the ride/costs. I'll probably be renting a car because I don't want to drive mine up there but if anyone else has a vehicle and wants to drive that would be great. I live in North Phx area (Cave Creek and Union Hills). This would be my first visit so I don't care what time we go or anything. He is still Phase 3 or whatever where I can only visit for 4 hours but I can keep myself busy if you plan on staying all day. I don't have kids but don't mind riding with them and I do smoke but I can wait until we stop to smoke if you're a non smoker. Let me know! Thanks!
