parole application

hey guys and gals my bro began serving a 3yr sentence in march of this year its been ten months and at the beginning of this month he got a sheet of paper that said application for parole he filled it out where hes guna live employment after he gets out etc. does anyone know how long it usally takes before we hear something like i said hes served ten months of the three year sentence so under the new law he was eligible after nine so hopefully he will be getting out soon anyone else experiencing anything like this?

He would have to appear before the board and that could take up to another year. It could be as soon as next month.

You never know for sure when you will go before them especially with the new people now available for Parole

FYI, Walnut Grove facility.UNDER 21.. this information is from a case manager at WGYCF ..... THE inmate and case manager fills out the application, sends it in and the Parole Board reviews and makes a decision...... the inmate is not even present.
This may not be the case for the majority.
