I dont believe you have to be married for him to release to your house.

First of all, welcome to PTO and the Washington Forum!

One place you can check is:
CM Thor Corp
425/252-1080

This group has over 20 low-income housing complexes (houses, apartments, 'bunk houses') in Snohomish County. They work closely with the DOC and people can be released to one of the Thor houses. They're very nice and if this area won't work for you, they may have information to help you. Another thought would be to contact the DOC in the city where he'll be released and they can give you ideas of who is renting to convicted felons.

Good luck, and keep us posted.

I never heard you had to be married to share a home. If you do move to WA there is a lot of unemployment making it difficult to get started. DOC has work-release facilities, however there may well be a waiting list. The lowest you can get a small place for is about $450.., Check out Craigs List for rentals.
(If he is a SO there will be many conditions)
I'm sure there are many of us at PTO willing to help you make arraingements.
