Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Treatment of inmates by guards @ Penetang

So, my fiance called his mom today while I was at work, and basically expressed to her that the guards were bullying him, making him feel horrible. He doesn't even want to leave his cell, to send mail, or get his canteen because that would involve him having to interact with the guards there. I'm extremely worried about him. His mom and I don't want to complain, for fear we'll make things worse for him.
Has anyone else here come across an issue like this?
