Question Any information on Uinta 3 Draper Prison

Does anyone have any information on prisoners being housed in Uinta 3?
I am new to the site and thought that you guys would be able to provide
more information.

Information such as; other prisoners..what to expect. Security level. Basically what it comes down to is what can I expect from the Draper prison? Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

Uinta 3 is 23 hour lockdown R&O (I think that means reception and orientation). Uinta 3 is where the inmates wait while it is decided where they're going to be permanently housed. Your inmate's stay should be near a month there then moved to wherever he's going.
It's loud, there aren't enough books to go around, the showers are miserable, it's not a nice place to be (even for being in prison it isn't nice). It tends to not be as violent as general population in the more permanent housing units.

My husband just got out of Uintah 3. He said it was freezing all the time, but starting to get warmer. You can get lots of the guards to let you pick a book out if you're nice to them or volunteer for things, once you get a book you can usually find people willing to trade when you finish it. They only get out for 1 hour a day, and it usually was very early in the morning. It's not a very pleasnat place... but he can make it better by behaving and taking advantage of any volunteer oportunities.

My husband was just moved to Uinta 3 from Uinta 5. The woman in property who told me this said she was surprised. Don't know if this a good thing or not. Have only had one letter from him in two weeks...no phone call at all....why can't they make a call to let us know they are okay. The only way I knew he had been taken to Draper was he got a message to me thru his county cell mate's girlfriend. Any help?

Does he have money for a call or to write a letter? I heard once they have moved out of R&O it takes longer for letters because they are in there with a lot more inmates then while in R&O.

There is money on the vca account. I guess they didnt tell him that our phone needed to be approved. I spoke with someone yesterday and I am to call him tomorrow to see if hubby has given the paperwork to them. If not, he said I could fax and he would approve by Saturday. Will let everyone know.

The gentlemans name is Ray Adderly. Call main number and ask for him. Keep in mind Monday is a federal holiday so he might be there. He's a very kind man and will help if he can.

Is the bill in your name? Address your address? Just something's that might be causingvthe problem.
