Default How do i apply for early release from parole in colorado?
Does anyone know the legal way to apply for early release from parole in Colorado? I don't qualify for the new guidelines because I am 8 months shy of completing 50 percent of my parole. My parole officer botched my Interstate Compact Transfer request to California by NEVER notifying me I was approved to go to California. Please help! Thanks!

There's no "legal" way to apply. It's under Administrative Regulations for Parole on the DOC website. I've attached a copy of it. Basically Time/Release will notify your CPO when you are time eligible for early release. He/she makes their recommendation based on your parole history. The report is sent to the Parole Teamlead, then the Parole Manager, then the Assistant Director and then the Parole Board. Yes it's time consuming and each step will make a recommendation for/against discharge, but the Parole Board is ultimately responsible for discharge/denial.
