Confused - Will he get re-arrested upon release?

Before my man got locked up this year. He had a case that he did go to court for last year and he was suppose to pay a fine but then he got locked up. Lake county send him reminder that he still gotta pay the fine. I called up there and told them that he is doing time now. Who ever i talked to told me that they will send a notice of a court date to him and since he wont be there they will issue a warrrant for his arrest and will come and get him on his out date.
Then i called back again and talked to public defendor and he told me that since he doing time now the casde will get revoked and nothing will happen.

Im still a lil confused which one is it. Can someone tell me
