Default Question about DOC website!

Ok, so my boyfriend had his preliminary hearing for his VOP on Tuesday. Now on the DOC website it says, CJ-HD-CRAFT as his facility, its correct that hes in County Jail, Hudson County, but why CRAFT? He isn't in CRAFT. He doesn't even know if parole is going to send him back to prison. Isn't CRAFT just where they send you before they send you to prison? We are just a little confused why it says that. Any insight?

They do update the page. Sometimes they do have the wrong info there. But usually it means he is about to be transferred. I hope not though. But his transfer could be in the system, but he has not been informed yet. It happened to my man. He was still in the county because he was calling me from there, but the DOC page said he was in CRAF. He was sent to CRAF a couple of days later before he went to his current facility.

It says that because he is techinally still under state control. Because he was still on parole when he was violated. So he is to follow state rules, not county.
At the moment, until you hear the results of his hearing, he may or may not go to CRAF. If's he violated, he will eventually, maybe, sometimes depending on the time that might be left or assigned to serve, he could stay in county as a state inmate under state guidelines. If they reinstate parole, he won't.
Hope the results are favorable and he's reinstated. All you can do is wait for the outcome of the hearing. Good luck.
