My fiance was in a county jail before being moved to prison. I have CBS and I added my landline to my cell phone account with them. Does he just have to get me approved on the list and then he can call my landline since it's already signed up to a prepaid account? Or do I need to call CBS and tell them the facility he is in so they let me recieve calls from there one I get approved? He is in a FL prison.
If you already have your account set up then you should be good. He is probably awaiting his list to be approved. When my fiance went from jail to prison he had to put his list in and it was almost a month before his list was approved. Hope this helps.

thank you.. now I wont be so worried if it takes alittle while before I get a call. The just took him yesterday morning.
If I already have a prepaid acct set up and have been receiving calls to my cell and want to change over to my house phone......do I make a new prepaid acct? Both numbers have different addresses as well? I'm thinking a new acct. because they seem picky about where the billing and address of the phone is. Anyone run into that kind of problem? Thanks.

I'm not sure if you have CBS. I do.. and I know they allow you to have up to 4 phone numbers set up on an account. Just call customer service and tell them you want to add a number to your account. The prison my fiance is in he needs to put my house number and the address for it on a list they use to get approved so they can call. I don't think CBS needs that address too. If you have a problem try calling them or just go on the website and change your address to the one where the house phone is. Hope this helped some.
