Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Please be aware that, due to difficulties arising from issues with Yahoo and AOL, we have changed our registration requirements.

Travel partner?

Hello everyone

I know this is a long-shot but I need to ask anyway. Is there anyone out there going from Minneapolis to the upper peninsula of Michigan at any time this year? If so, could I get a ride with you and a ride back? I will pay for gasoline of course. ALL of it if you want. I have been thinking of renting a car but I'm afraid I'll get lost because it's been 11 years since I drove in the US plus I have NO idea how to get around in MN and MI... only in VA and MD.

I promise I'm not a weird person, I'm easy to get along with etc. I want to visit a friend of mine in Iron River (Camp Ottawa), which is a few miles from the north-eastern WI border.

Please, I'm desperate
