Default Regarding a parole violation

My roommate was in prison for a non violent crime, and was released through a work release program, and placed on parole. He was supposed to report to see his po once a month. He gets depressed easily, and was arrested back in august, and she held him for a week and then released him with a probationary period (reporting every two weeks, and having a cerfue) He gots depressed again, and was not reporting, but was atleast calling her, but she never returned his phone calls. My question is, does anybody think she will let him out again? All of his urine screens are clean, and he has not violated in any other way.And also, if she placed him on a cerfew, shouldn't she have stopped by and checked on him once in awhile?

It is all going to depend on his PO. If he is fighting depression, he needs to discuss that with her and perhaps she can refer him for help with it. Also, as far as the PO not returning phone calls, he needs to be persistent in reaching her. Being on curfew is about being where you are supposed to be when you are supposed to be whether or not the PO stops by any checks or not. Its about you doing what you are supposed to do. Being on parole isn't easy but it's a lot easier than being in prison. I have been where your roommate is now and I understand.

Good luck!
