Parole/house arrest - how long does the process take?

My boyfriend went back on a parole violation but it got dismissed. So about a week ago, A parole officer came to my house and approved my house for a host site for my boyfriend. He is in stateville recieving. I called last tuesday and the parole officer was at my house two days later!!! I asked him (the parole officer) if he has any information on when my boyfriend will be getting out and he said he cant release any info due to securety purposes thats its up to the institution now. And well monday I was supposed to get a phone call from him but I didnt which kinda made me upset. But I called prisoner review board and they are all done with him. Since he has a host site now its just up to statesville to let him go. And to call the prison for more info. Well i talked to a counselor and they said something about a court date and something about he has to get that finished with but the prisoners review board said they were all done with him. So idk I have to call another number tomorrow at statesville to find out or try to find out my info. The counselor really confused me!! I wasnt too sure he knew what he was saying. He wasnt very nice at all. My boyfriend has been locked up for about three months now. I am hoping he will get out soon maybe before christmas since the parole officer came to my house that fast. Idk how long does this process usually take? I am new to all this. So if anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!
