What will happen next please help

As always i call on you for help. My bf went for his individual hearing yesterday, he was charged with unauthroized use of a motor vehicle, and entering the country illegally, the judge dropped the unaurthorized use of the motor vehicle, and my bf proved he enter the US legally to attend school. well right a way the prosecutor said my bf had a grand larceny charge in the state of VA and was going to place another detainier on him (they did'nt have enough time to get all the paper work), he is more worried about his status because he is considered an over stay. Now does the process work? start all over again since the judge has closed this case? i mean with the master and individual hearing. and also can a criminal get an adjustment of status? do you know what happens if the prosecutor brings the over stay charge up again in court and nothing has changed? i hope this makes since to you. thanks.

I'm a bit confused, is your boyfriend still in jail? Or is he out? I would contact an immigration attorney about getting his status figured out ASAP. Just talk to them....i wouldnt hire any one as of yet. You need to understand the whole status situation before you can make any moves. Hugs to you...this will resolves it's self. Keep us posted.
