Default Any new info on Bostick State Prison

I am so sad there are no new posts here. I have the same question everyone else did. Does anyone know anything about this place? I am too far away to be able to go check it out. Hi everyone.

Hey, have you had the opportunity to visit yet? I have NO personal experience info on this facility but if you have gone, share the info. I am sure there will be others who will be looking for some answers too.

First do not depend on the directions on Bostick site. We got lost. You have to get there before 11:00 because they shut the prison down from 11 to 1. Vistitation is 9:00 to 3:00 Sat and Sun. You can bring 20 in coins only. Half the time one of the vending machines do not work. We found a line at 1:00 it was only 4 people deep but it still took us 30 minutes to finally get in. They are in no hurry to let you in. Do not wear sandles, you will not get in. You are in a medium size room. It is kinda of loud so you have to speak up when talking with your loved ones. The inmates are use to all of the noise so they hear you with no problems. I have to strain to hear my son. It is air condition, so that is good. It is not as easy to leave. You have to wait to go into get your keys and then they wait until there are several people waiting to leave before they open the gate. You walk through a metal detector and you pull out your pockets. If you have any other questions, let me know.

Have you already gone to the prison or are you needing the directions still?
