How do you like the Mystic area? I think its absolutely beautiful out there this time of year.

Did they give you any "special" visits? Like 3 hour ones? ect?

Thanks for all for writting.

We are having a great time here. We visited the children's museum, the aquarium and the seaport yesterday. We went Today to the Foxwood Hotel (won some money at the casino), a chuck e cheeses. We also went the other day to the Mohegan Casino, the malls and some outlets I saw off the I-95. So whe have been having a great time.

As for the visitations his counselor asked me for proof of our trip and I faxed it to him and we are having EVEY DAY ALL TIME VISITATION

. Since he works during the day we are visiting him from 6-9. Its been great for all.

The only thing I've hated is the weather Today and yesterday I went to a mall and tried to get my hair straight and the girls did not know how to freaking blow dry. I came out with my hair looking worst than when I came in.

We love this type of area there is a lot to do around eventhough we have experienced many many looks like what the hell are these people doing here. It's very county and to see 2 puertorricans it's strange to them. Also when we pay with our credit cards and ask for our ID's they say Is this and ID? and we are like YES It's a Puerto Rico Driver's License.

Were just dreading Saturday. That will be our last and sad visit.

dont take the asking for ID thing personal they do it to white girls as well. Trust me. You still have today thurs frid and sat to visit. Look at it like that. I know the time will go by fast but at least you get to see him and have your daughter spend time with her dad. How much longer does he have anyway. Try to check out the dinosaur museum thing in Oakdale/Salem not far from you It is called Nature's Art. You can pan for gold there. Well not real gold but depending on your daughters age she won't know the difference.

I figured that once I saw her blowdrying my hair without pulling.

I was just trying to find info on that dinousaur thing.

Yes Mysitc area is very country...and VERY expensive! The rest of CT is not like that. New Haven, Hartford, Bridgeport, Waterbury have plenty of Puerto Rican's. I also some PRs who live in Mystic!

Can't sleep as usual, but that seems to be because I wake up thinking about my Sweetie and wondering what he is doing. Does anyone else have insomnia because their guy is away?

I have insomnia too. I find myself awake until 4am most nights (or later). I think about my love wondering if he is safe, what he is doing. I think it is worse lately. I know he said that he has been having trouble sleeping as well. I am so happy that this will be the last year of this..I am emotionally drained.

I think its mandatory to have have trouble sleeping lol. I know that since my bf went away I don't sleep well at all, although it has gotten worse lately because of the stupid parole board dragging their feet about my house inspection...I just want them to see my house so he can come home!

I don't know, but my guess is that everything is on the up and up, and if you are renting that your lease allows the person to stay there.

insomnia has become a way of life for me. i don't sleep like ever, i am always exausted beyond belief. he doesn't sleep either i know that because we were talkin about it the other day on the phone. he was givin me the talk about not gettin enough sleep, i asked him if he was givin this talk to himself too. lol. it is rare that i got to sleep before 2 or 3 and sometimes i stay up as late as 5 or 6. it has gotten worse for me lately too waitin to hear if he is gonna get a hwh or not. i just want an answer even if its no so i can know what is goin on. the endless waiting is the worst.

Hi there, I need so major encouragement.. I am about to give up and feelign like I am failing my man. This is my 1st prison relationship I have been married to him since 4-20-12 I knew this wasn't gonna ever be an easy normal realationship but I feel like I am about to break. My husband is miserable where he is. And I am trying my best to understand But i am feeling hurt, and I feel like he punishes me for whatever he is going through in jail. I look forward to his calls all the time but lately when he calls its like he doesn't have time to talk to me, its mostly to check in say Hello and I love you goodbye, I am lucky if I get a whole 2 minutes.. and I can't question him because he gets mad and doesn't want the rest of the prison to know his problems, and is constantly telling me that he isnt a phone person, when of course in the beginning we couldn't get enough of each other..Does anyone else go through this the moods the roller coaster. i feel helpless for him.. and wish there was something I could do!

Just wondering if any of you at all are Familar with the charge Assault 1st degree BF? And what you may know about that in regards to inmates being released with good time etc?
