Unhappy Feeling utterly destroyed today

Hi all, I am mostly a lurker here, but I am having a terrible day.
My man has been on the inside for a couple of years now, and we have 2 boys, a 6 year old and a 4 year old.
My older boy has learned how to read and write pretty good this year, and he wanted to write his own letter to Santa. I figured, why not? So I gave him our special 'to Santa only' paper (we send letters every year) and let him.
In his misformed letters with crappy spacing, here is his letter. (I had to correct the spelling LOL)

Dear Santa,
I looked at the toys in moms sears catalog, and they were all really cool.
I heard a song about getting teeth for Christmas, but I can wait for mine to grow back.
My brother and I have lots of toys, books, games and clothes already because our mom rocks out loud.
So my list this year is not a list because it only has one thing on it.
For this Christmas all I want is my dad to come home. I think my brother wants that too, and maybe a Transformer. Mom works at two places and yawns a lot. If dad was home, she could stay here, and maybe get a nap.
Thank you very much, and Happy Christmas
Love Jesse

That is soooo precious. You are very lucky to have a child that tuned in to what's going on. And who is so selfless. Your son is wonderful. Give them both an extra big hug next time. Compassion like that is rare in kids these days so give yourself an extra big hug too cause your doing a great job mom
