Question Is this true? Being taken from prison to deportation center?

I was told that if someone has an ICE hold and are in the Federal system, they can be taken to a deportation center within 2 years of their release and will be held there until their sentence is finished. After that, they will be deported. Is this true? Because I also heard that ICE will pick you up within 2 days of sentence completion. I don't know which one is accurate.

Ive read on here that they come get them a couple days after they serve their complete sentence but thats from state prisons, i believe it is a different process if they are already in federal prison. But that's just from info ive read on here, i hope someone comes along that can tell you for sure.
