Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Please be aware that, due to difficulties arising from issues with Yahoo and AOL, we have changed our registration requirements.

Users with email addresses from yahoo.com, yahoo.co.uk and aol.com will no longer be able to use them to create a new account.
We have had a long-standing problems with these mail services and have found that it is almost impossible to send out account activations to new users who have Yahoo or AOL providers.

Please use an alternative email address; hotmail, gmail etc.

Oklahoma Pen-Pal Ad's are not allowed.

After receiving some information, which has been personally verified, PTO has decided to remove all Pen-Pal Ad's for prisoners in the state of Oklahoma.

Oklahoma State Penitentiary officials are handing out write-ups (misconducts) to any inmate who is "using the internet indirectly", including pen-pal sites and requests for pen-pals made by third parties.

In an effort to assist Inmate's from receiving write-ups, we are removing all Oklahoma Pen-Pal ad's on a temporary basis until we can receive further information from the state on their Policy in regards to Inmate Pen-Pal's.
