Is your phone your using the area code as Walpole (508)? If you have the same area code it will be the cheapest you can get which is like 3something a call. If not change ur cell phone to the 508 area code and pre pay the calls. U cant pre pay 25 or 50 dollars and it last kinda long.

My man is in a FTC right now waiting to move back to a federal facility in Texas. He told me today that he is hearing a lot of talk about phone lines through companies like PACTEL (VZ Partners is the one we use) are going to become a thing of the past in the Federal system. Has anyone heard anything about this? He tells me one of the guys wife is saying she has found a ton of info on the BOP site but I have been on that sight a lot today and have found nothing. If anyone has info I would be happy to get it. He will be calling or emailing and asking me what I found out...I am sure most of you know how that goes :-) Thanks in advance!

i got the majic jack phone this way i can get a local area code and exchange to where ever my baby is at anytime -- and cheaper then a cell bill -- yes i have a cell phone too but that usualy costs more in the long run for minutes and so forth so i dont use the stand by of the cell phones
majic jack is like any other landline phone except for it plugs into a usb port on your computer and it only costs 39.99 for the jack but then also includes first year of service and then is only 19.99 per YEAR!
