Just got awesome news- Nov. 15 could be THE day!!!

So I just got a call from the circuit clerk in my town and she said that my love's reconsideration date has finally been set! It will be November 15! I am so excited and happy but trying not to be because I know theres a bigger chance of it getting denied than of it getting granted. Some people think reconsiderations arent deserved but whats the difference between it and getting out on parole? Nothing really. Hes served time so to me, he deserves a chance just like someone at a parole hearing does. He will have been gone for just over 6 months by the time that comes up so hopefully, thats enough to show the judge that he has changed because he really has. At the very least, it gives us something to look forward to and count down to. And if it gets denied, then we only have a few more months before hes home.

May be a silly thread but I was about to bust- I had to tell someone and none of my friends understand how exciting this is so thanks for letting me share.

I hope everything turns out for the best. I know it will only be six months and thats really not that much but I work two jobs, seven days every week just to be able to keep up with the bills and Im still behind. Plus I go to school full-time, taking 18 credit hours this semester so Im just ready for him to be home so I can ease off the working some and focus more on my studies since this is my last year of college. So Im hoping for the best and attempting to prepare for the worst. At most, if it gets denied, he should only be doing six more months so it wont be that bad. But I definitely would prefer to have him home.
