My Love at Anthony Corrections & Story

Well I'm new here and dont know much about this whole jail, prison thing BUT just wanted to say that this is honestly the best and greatest site I have ever seen where people dealing with all the same things can go for comfort and support from others !! Anyway I'm Ashley,25, from Buckhannon ... I've been browsing this site since April, when my boyfriend, Josh was arrested, this is not his first run in with trouble ~ but hopefully the last time not only him, but myself will have to go through this !! Josh is only 20 and had been in "boys homes" i guess different places for juveniles, from the time he was 15 till he turned 18. He got his GED and did very well there. Since he has been out of the boys homes and back in the real world, he has been arrested 4 times, 3 of the 4 were just misdeamenors ~ the first was before we were together, he spent a month at Tygart Valley and was let out on unsupervised probation (which basically means nothing) !! Three weeks after we started dating, I dropp'd him off at a friends house,got a call when i got home, the cops had come there and arrested him, he had had a warrant for his arrest from a destruction of property and joy-riding he had gotten once again before we were together ~ People said I was crazy (id only known him for 3 wks) but I came up with 600 dollars and bailed him out,he only spent a week in Tygart Valley this time, he later went to court and got unsupervised probation again. October 09 we broke up for a short time, he went out with a jerk buddy of his,they were drinkin, and beat the crap out of some guy outside a bar in town,guy turned them in, Josh got sentenced to 8 days at Tygart Valley. We got in a huge fight,due to his immaturity & craziness Febuary of this year, I made him leave, and promised myself I was done with him, as I have 2 young daughters to worry about. He tried to contact me on March 27th (the day before his trouble) , he was screw'd up on something, i could tell so I told him to leave me alone I was done. March 28th him and some older guys he was runnin with, broke into a pharmacy, Josh got one count destruction of property and one count conspiracy to commit a felony. This time when i looked him up it said pre-trial felon, NOT MISDEAMENOR. He set at Tygart Valley from April till July when the judge sentenced him to 6mnths-2 yrs at the Anthony Correctional Center, as opposed to 4 yrs in prison, thank goodness !! He has been at Anthony Corrections for a month now, I think this may have scared him enough, or at least im hopin, for him to turn himself around. He basically has no-one, his family has all had enough of his trouble BUT regardless of what he does, he still has me. Ive never cared about anyone like I care for him and will stick with him through it all. Hes really a good guy who I believe can change his life around. Hopin to go visit him as soon as im approved, and hoping the time he has to spend there goes by fast. I cant stop worryin about him and hes always on my mind. I have much sympathy and couldnt imagine what some of you who has to wait 5-10 yrs or even longer for your loved ones to come home are dealing with because 9 months seems to long to me.
