Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

i am finally going to get to go to my first visit at missouri eastern correctional center in pacific mo on sat august 14th, 2010. i have not seen my guy in almost 6mths. he is having a food visit. i am just wondering if anyone has had a visit at that prison and how everything works and if they have had a food visit and how that works. my guy has been locked up for 14mths but this will be the first time we have gotten to be face to face and visiting instead of being behind glass on the phone...i am so excited buy scared...please any information would be appreciated

no, they would not let me in. i drove for 2hrs 20mins and when i got there they said i was down as a friend not significant other. thank goodness his sister went with me so she could go in and visit. at least he got to eat good. the co there looked it up and found i was approved as significant other but the case worker put it in wrong. but they got it fixed and i did go up this past saturday and had a wonderful visit. we couldn't have a food visit but it was a nice visit. thanks for asking
