hi everyone,, well my son just called me,, thank you lord he told me some guys came to him ,, asked him about the commessery, he said they were going on about what he was going to do ,, he told me he told them straight its not going to happen , if it comes to fighting , then so be it, he said one of the guys , said to let it go , and everything was cool , so they just walked away, my son told me they said it was done and over with , i asked my son if he beleived them , he said maybe?? but you never know, he told me i will fight them if i have to mamma, i am glad i got to talk to him to night, i gave him some of the advice you ladys shared with me , he said to tell everyone hi,, he also told me , he starts school next week, i am so happy about that so god willing it will be over,, back to one day at a time,,, when i go to bed to night, i will be praying for every inmate in a prison and there familys ,, we have to do this for each other,, brave heart...

I'm so glad your son called and good for him for standing up to them!! I know that call did your heart good.

I hope his call will bring you a some much deserved peace for awhile. Your son sounds like he could be a good leader and set some good examples while doing his time.

I think that is what worries me the most with my daughter going to prison...I have already started praying for all the CO's and all the other inmates that will come in contact with my daughter...I talked to her and she said I have to do what I will have to do to survive....That is true...I know I just pray that it never comes to that. I will just keep praying and praying and praying...thanks for sharing it seems that maybe it is calm for now and you can get back to what you need to do for yourself...have a good nights sleep.

I'm glad he called to let you know and feel better. He did just what he should have he done. My son said they can't show any fear otherwise they will be targeted. He told me somebody told him the first time anybody tried to get them do anything they don't want to, just go all crazy on them and then he'll have no more problems. Thank God my son did not have to go all crazy or anything like that but he did have to check somebody who stole his CD's once. He didn't tell me but his friend did~ I asked him about it and he said he did what he had to do. My son did not get in any trouble and a C/O told him the thief was moved to a different prison b/c he had crossed too many there and he feared for his life! I think my son wasn't the only person to visit him... I was ticked off when I learned of this but he hasn't been bothered since and now he locks his door everytime he leaves his room!
I am glad your son showed those guys he's not afraid to fight, I believe they will leave him be now. It's a tough place to become a man.

hi guys, i read some of your posts, my god how hard is this ??? you know i wait for a phone call every night from him,, if i dont here anything by 11oclock at night i will call the prison to see if he is all right, a few times he has been put in the box,, you know ladys i been through a lot in my lifetime ,, but nothing like this ,, what keeps me going is first of all prayer and more prayer,, and then finding this web site,, i really do thank god for you all because no one really understands, how we feel,, yes our kids made a mistake but the price they have to pay is just to HIGH,, but loving them will NEVER NEVER,,stop,,, bumblebee,, dont you ever think for a moment that your son , should be judged now ,, he made is mistakes and paid the price for them,, removing the past from his life is a good thing ,, tatooes can be removed just like the past, my prayer for your son is,, he comes home to his mamma, and lives the life god intended,, for him ,, thank god bumblebee, its NEVER to late i wish you lots of love,, brave heart...
