DOING TIME
You spend all your time locked away,
For your precious life you have no say.
You never know whose heart you break,
Whose special love you some how take.
Take as in your unable to be there.
Wondering if anyone loves you or really does care.
The person on the inside who never has fun.
They sure can't hide or even try to run.
Run from the doors that are locked from behind.
Behind the walls where you can never unwind.
Promises that are waiting to be told,
Oh well your life is still on hold.
Hold which seems like an eternity.
Cheer up you soon will be set free!
