Today actually brought movement in the Sharon Keller appeal. The Texas Supreme Court declined to overturn the rebuke of the presiding judge of the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. But Keller, who refused the last appeal of a death-row inmate, will live to fight another day.

A special court of review plans to decide by Oct. 8 whether to dismiss a judicial ethics panel's rebuke of Judge Sharon Keller or move forward with her appeal.

Keller appeared before the special court's three-judge panel Monday to push for dismissal now, avoiding a three-day trial at the end of November over the rebuke from the State Commission on Judicial Conduct.

The woman has a nerve...

"I won," Keller says. "People can call it what they want."

I didn't know that the State Commission on Judicial Conduct's vacated the decision. What do they mean by a "technicality"? This woman is nothing but pure evil and I feel sorry for the citizens of the state of Texas IF she is re-elected again.

Here's why Joy...

A specially appointed court of review vacated the State Commission on Judicial Conduct's sanction of Sharon Keller today, saying the state board acted unconstitutionally in reprimanding the presiding judge of the Court of Criminal Appeals.

This is also pretty "funny":

In a petition for writ of mandamus filed July 29, Texas Court of Criminal Appeals Presiding Judge Sharon Keller asks the state Supreme Court to vacate the public warning the State Commission on Judicial Conduct issued to her on July 16. Keller also asks the Supreme Court to dismiss all charges against her.

She asked... I just hope that the next time an inmate asks something they will be listening too...The woman caused a man's death for god's sake....
