My Son is in Eldorado For Evaluation

Can anyone tell me the process that we will have to go through. Can we write to him if we have his number. He has not called us yet, but hope to hear from him soon.

Can he still call me if I am using Correctional Billing Services?

Any answers would help.

yes u can write to him as long as u know his # ... i wrote my hubby the day his number came up on kdoc ... for phone calls, yea it took i think a few days to like a week i think to get a call. but if u havnt yet signed up for pre-paid from embarq (the service all of kdoc goes thru).. u can call them or visit their site icsolutions.com and set one up that way he can call as soon as they allow him to.. and u can have it set up for ur home phone and or ur cell..

My son is in ElDorado for evaluation as well. I have been told the process takes 4 to 6 weeks. They are locked down for 23 hours a day. I don't know if they can make calls and receive mail either. I sure do miss him today is his birthday. If you find out anything please let me know ok? Thanks

They can receive letters while in RDU. They do get a chance to call, but only after they have established their call list and they don't get very many chances to use the phone. However, you may want to look into setting up a pre-paid phone account with IC solutions. If you need their number or any information or any other questions, please PM me.
