Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Please be aware that, due to difficulties arising from issues with Yahoo and AOL, we have changed our registration requirements.

Users with email addresses from yahoo.com, yahoo.co.uk and aol.com will no longer be able to use them to create a new account.
We have had a long-standing problems with these mail services and have found that it is almost impossible to send out account activations to new users who have Yahoo or AOL providers.

Please use an alternative email address; hotmail, gmail etc.

Question Planning a visit to FPC Duluth
Hello eveyone! My husband is in FPC Duluth.I am trying to plan a trip there and I am from Michigan is there anyone that can give me some info. on an hotel near the facility that is clean and affordable.Any other info that would help make the trip go smoothly would be helpful.Thank you in advance for any helpful info.

Hi SillySam. I live about a mile from the FPC in Duluth. The closest lodging to the camp would probably be the Econo Lodge - Airport. While I have never stayed there, I have seen it from the road, and it looks like it would adequate, and it looks like it is kept up well, and looks to be the least expensive.

There is also a Days Inn a little further away, as well as several others that are a bit farther away, but the Econo Lodge would definitely be the closest.

Hope this helps. If you would like any other names, please let me know and I can get them for you. I haven't been to any of them, but know where they all are!

I have stayed at econo lodge several times it is nice and so close

The Econo Lodge isn't super cheap, but it is pretty nice. Ask them for the Prison discount.
