He asked me today!!!

I live in another state from my boyfriend and I surprised him with visits for Valentine's Day weekend. He was FLOORED when I showed up on Saturday - it was great to see his HUGE smile when he walked into visitation.

Today he wanted to ask me during photographs which are usually only on weekends, but also on holidays but the guy never showed up. So about 1/2 an hour before the end of my visit I asked him what time it was and he said, "I think it's a good time for me to ask you to marry me." So I said, "Yes it is." So he said, "Will you marry me?" and I said "Yes."

He asked me in a letter recently IF he asked me if I would consider it and I told him he would get that answer when he looked me in the eye and asked me the question for real. Meanwhile I KNEW I'd be seeing him in a couple of weeks, but he didn't. He was wondering when he would get to. He wrote my Mom to ask for her blessing and told her in the letter that he had planned to ask me on the phone on Valentine's Day.

So yeah - my Valentine's Day was very nice.
