Hymn/Chant/Church song

I wanted to send my friend at NHSPW some German church songs (the music notes and text). That the inmate knows what the songs are about I thought I translate them into English. But I think they sound better in their original text in German. So what I wanted to do is, to write the notes along with the original German text on one side of the sheet and on the back side the German text with the translation into English, so that my friend knows the meaning of the text and that the screening officers know, that this is no code. If I did so, do you think my friend will receive the songs?
