I haven't made a quilt in 27 years..........

Now that I have a grandson, I decided to start sewing again. I made him a quilt today. The only thing I have left to do is tie it, but I wanted to brag. The picture isn't great, I will have a better one tomorrw. But..........here it is.

The design squares are: one is white with small handprints in primary colors, the other is pale green with golf balls and primary colored golf tees. See attached thumbnails. My stepson is a golfer like his Dad.

I am proud of myself!

As soon as I can, I will post some pictures......later today.

Tem, it's so cute! I quilt as well though not very often since it's kind of expensive now. I'm making one for me and J when he comes home. It's got his favorite colors and it's a pinwheel design. I've never attempted anything other than squares so this has been fun to see how it's coming out

Now............would you like to see the WHOLE quilt? DUH!! The back is solid red. The picture is not great, but it gives you the idea.

I love the hand print fabric... not sure how they do the mother's birth certificates anymore but I would use some of that to mat his B/C with the foot print on it..
