Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Hi I'm from Brownsville, Tx.. My fiance got sent to Dominguez exactly 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard from him .. I have sent him letters though. through jpay and mail.. Can anyone tell me how long till he can buy stamps papaer and envelopes? I sent him money already but I'm sure it takes time since he's new but how long? Its been really frustrating not knowing how he's doing.. can someone please help me? Also is there anyone out there from the valley that'll be going to Dominguez.. that would want to go together I have a car all I ask is for help with gas money if any.. Plz and thank you

He should be able to write you immediately, if he has stamps, envelopes and a pen. Maybe he doesn't and won't until he goes to commissary. And to find that out, you would need to call the unit, and ask when does he go to commissary. I'd think they could at least tell you that.

Thank You for responding.. I thought maybe they couldn't go to commissary till 2 or 3 wks after he got there.. I mean I already put $ into his account.. but I guess I just have to keep waiting.. heh..thank u though
