Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

My son's father is at Olympic Correction Center and I have never been. I am thinking about taking our son to visit but have very mixed feelings. He has been in for 2 years and has 1 left to do. Our son is 7 years old and knows that his father is in prison but has not been to see him. He wants to go and I believe he is mature enough but again I struggle with making the right desicion to what he is exposed to. If anyone could give me some advice or words of wisdom about Forks and the facility and what visiting is like there for children I would appriciate it.

DOES ANYONE visit or have loved ones incarcerated at the OLYMPIC CC in FORKS?

My boyfriend was just transfered from shelton to OCC about two weeks ago. I have not been to see him yet, no transportation and no funds to do so =( and still need to renew my id

I know this is a little late, but my ex was locked up at OCC for about 2 years. That was back in the mid-90's so I'm sure it's changed a bit, but I'm more than happy to share what I remember.
