Default Help, I don't understand-He's to be deported but P.O. wants to see my home?

Hello pto, i was hoping someone could help me with something...

My baby is due to be deported on or about his c/r date on 6/11/11.

My question is...yesterday a new york state parole officer called me to schedule a home walk through.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? As far as we know he will be deported because he already has his final order of deportation...and he volunteered to be deported...in other words he is not fighting deportation.

I checked new york state doc's page and they now list the date that his post supervision will end???

Does this mean he may not be getting deported??? Or are these actions just normal protocal???

I think they're probably just going through their normal protocol. The state doesn't assume that he will be deported, so they carry out whatever steps they usually would. I wouldn't read anything into it unless they tell you otherwise.

thanks robinbanks...i did not think so i was just curious. I does not matter too us as we are planning our future in trinidad anyway. I just did not understand what parole had to do with his release as he is being deported. But i do understand what you are saying about not reading anything into it. Thanks again robinbanks you seen to be ontop of the immigration laws and i appreciate all of your feed backs.
