Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Please be aware that, due to difficulties arising from issues with Yahoo and AOL, we have changed our registration requirements.

Users with email addresses from yahoo.com, yahoo.co.uk and aol.com will no longer be able to use them to create a new account.
We have had a long-standing problems with these mail services and have found that it is almost impossible to send out account activations to new users who have Yahoo or AOL providers.

Please use an alternative email address; hotmail, gmail etc.

Default Intro--dawn1975 from California
i found this site when i was looking for information about north kern state prison in california. i have lots of questions about what will happen to my friend. i am new to the prison thing and dont know where to start.

Hi Dawn! Welcome to PTO. Coming here is a great place to start. You will find so much support and information... learning more about the system helps to alleviate fears and anxiety, and getting support and advice from members who can relate is not only helpful, but lets you know you're not alone. This is a link to the North Kern State Prison forum, which is inside the California forum. Just click on the underlined words and you'll go right to those forums, where you will meet members from your home state and find information about your friend's prison.
