Default Trying not to freak out...he didn't call right back!

Hi everyone,

A few days ago my MWI and I were finally able to start talking on the phone. He said it didn't matter how "naughty" we got on the phone and this afternoon we had some great phone sex Then we started having a conversation, and he said he was going to call right back because no one was standing in line behind him. But he didn't Now I'm worried we might have already gotten blocked...he does prepay vouchers at the commissary and the provider is GTL...am I freaking out over nothing?

Sorry my guy's in federal, so not sure if the rules are the same as in state but I know that at my BF's prison, they don't take away phone privileges just because you get naughty on the phone. Could be a lot of reasons why he's not calling back, long queues for the phones, techinal issues, no money left on the phone, lockdown.... Just hang in there, I'm sure he'll contact you soon! /M

Question

It's funny how almost anything can be said on the phone (maybe this varies by state) but they are so picky about letters, e.mails, etc. Wonder why this is?

Besides the $$$ that is being made off phone calls...

Anyway, I am sure you will hear from him soon. There always seems to be some issue or another with phones, no matter where they are.

I have moved your thread here to the Massachusetts forum because although what you describe has never been a problem for me, I am only dealing with Illinois prisons. Here in this forum you will find others who receive phone calls from the same facility as you. Try not to freak out. There is probably a good explanation for why he was unable to call right back.

Thanks. He is scheduled to call me at 2:30 p.m. today so hopefully he will. My uncle, who has been locked up, tells me NOT to freak out because anything could have happened given where he is.
