Are there any success stories out there? Anybody written a Gay inmate and upon release lived "happily ever after?"

Hate to be the one that comes here and says that there aren't any success stories on PTO.... but actually none that I am aware of in the GLBT forum.

If you are talking MWI - met while incarcerated - I know of a couple of guys writing that their guy came home to them but then it did not develop to that dream relationship that it was promised as while writing.

If there is someone out there that knows of a GLBT MWI that came home and lived happily ever after then please let me / us know!

I am perhaps a bit tainted as my own MWI cheated and lied to me for many years. Yes, we are still friends and I refer to him as my Partner, but we have many rules around our relationship now.

In my opinion, most - not all - but most of the apparent gay Prisoners are not really gay. Most are writing for the scam and you have to go in to this with your eyes wide open. Go in without expectations, give from the heart not expecting any return other than feeling good for helping someone disadvantaged and you are good.
