Help with tattoo idea, plz..

My husband is going to be in TDCJ for maybe a year or so (praying parole works out), and I wanted to cheer him up by getting a tattoo for him...to show my love and dedication...

The idea I have drawn up is two open roses held together by a ribbon that hangs down and forms into a heart..
I'm having a hard time decided whether or not to write anything on the ribbon.. Maybe something that represents love, patience, strength... Or maybe no writing and have the ribbon a little torn up to represent staying together through the hard times..

I appreciate any input. Thanks in advance!
