Husband is in danger. Don't know who to contact. Dominguez TX State Jail

My husband was placed under protective custody about a week and a half ago because he was jumped by a group of 5-6 men. He can protect himself, that's not the problem, he had 3-4 of them on the ground in a matter of seconds. The remaining 2 had razors though and threatened to kill him, this was when the guards finally did their job and came in.
The problem is that the Warden has been threatening him that if he doesn't go back into general population he will put restrictions on his mail, visitation and commissary. He is also trying to write him up on a "major" case for refusing. He is trying to force him back into a dangerous situation instead of dealing with it appropriately. My husband has had 3 different conversations with the Warden. Obviously, something needs to be done to keep my husband safe.
Should I contact Huntsville? My husband wants me to start with whom I think is high enough over the Warden, who might actually do something, but if that doesn't work, I have no fear to contact the news stations/papers about this. My husband will no lose his life, nor his right to parole, over the stupidity and laziness of a man to do his job!

Im really sorry to hear this. I dont have any information to help you. Maybe you have found some answers by now.

You might read some more threads here and find someone that seems to have some knowledge about this kind of issue and try to see if they will point you in the right direction.

I don't have any advice but I will pray for your husband I will pray that the devil will not win this battle I pray God has favor over your husband life I pray no weapon formed against him will prosper , I pray you and him strength and mercy and grace in Jesus name I pray Amen...!!!
